I’m very much interested and looking forward to participate in the workshop on media archival, preservation & conservation. I have got very few knowledge in this subject discipline. I’m very excited to see the event calendar. Go MLA!!!!!

I was getting very excited about the Workshop on Island Library Development, to be held in Laamu Gan for the Medhu-Dhekunu Province.
Very dissapointed that is it not happening after all the hype.
I guess, for future similar workshops, we need to find a funding body who could arrange accomodation for interested participants to come and stay in one central island.

I was having the same feeling towards the Workshop on Island Library Development (WILD). As AnthuR have mentioned, next time we should try to find a grant or a sponsor from somewhere to facilitate such workshops.
We have to think of an innovative idea to run an awareness program to educate our society on how important libraries and librarians are to the nation. Our community needs to know more about information management. Let us hold our hands and walk towards a change….
